Inboxes

Creating an inbox

3 min readCreate addresses like you@, sales@ or support@ on your verified domain.

Each inbox is a real mailbox with its own address and password, for example sales@yourcompany.com.

Before you start

Your domain must be verified. See Getting started if it isn’t yet.

Create the inbox

  1. Open Settings → Inboxes.
  2. Click Create inbox.
  3. Choose the address (the part before the @) and select your domain.
  4. Set a password of at least 12 characters. It is stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM).
  5. Click Create.

The new inbox appears in the inbox switcher in Mail right away.

Pricing

Your first inbox is $6.99/month and each additional inbox is $5.99/month. See Pricing.

Sharing an inbox with your team

To let teammates work in an inbox, invite them from Settings → Inboxes with the team inbox add-on. Each teammate signs in with their own VoraMail account, so you never share the inbox password.

Tips

  • Use role addresses (support@, sales@, billing@) for functions that may change hands.
  • Use personal addresses (firstname@) for individual relationships.
  • Reserved system domains can’t be used for customer inboxes.
